 May Khanna is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics, with expertise in small molecule therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases, including ALS, Alzheimer’s, and Batten disease. Her research lab is dedicated to the development of preclinical small molecule drugs for these diseases, bridging academia and industry to accelerate drug discovery. She is committed to mentoring the next generation of scientists and supporting innovative approaches in academic research. She is also the inaugural Assistant Dean for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Florida College of Medicine, where she focuses on fostering an entrepreneurial culture among academic scientists.

Rosezett is a retired Army Counterintelligence Officer who makes hemp derived CBD Granola, under her RoseLand Edibles LLC Brand. Rosezett is currently working on writing her first autobiographical book, encompassing her life’s journey. Rosezett is a disabled veteran that advocates for every veteran’s mental and physical well-being through holistic and plant-based medicines. Rosezett is currently building an online presence, showing off her culinary skills and her LOVE for all things food while promoting her RoseLands Edibles brand. Rosezett is also in the process of re-launching her blog chronicling her journey using plant-based medicine and holistic healing. Land is an Author under the pen name “ReLand.” Her first short story, “Spin Cycle,” was published in Down in the Dirt magazine, Mind Pebbles v221, 1 July 2024. ReLand’s work incorporates themes of Urban life, military, Science fiction, and Black culture. She’s particularly interested in Dramedies featuring an array of stories depicting Black culture. She’s expected to graduate from Full Sail’s Creative Writing certificate in July 2024. RoseLands Edibles won 3rd place in the Arizona Pioneer Pitch competitions for Entrepreneurs. When Rosezett isn’t attending to her various life missions, you can find her in the kitchen creating delicious meals and treats. Rosezett uses her love for cooking and food to further her knowledge of the Fine Dining Culinary Arts.

Elisa Johnson is the passionate founder of B.L.U. Tier, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting low-income single mothers and their children. Drawing from her own life experiences as a single mother who overcame tremendous adversity, Elisa is on a mission to empower women by providing essential resources, fostering community, and creating opportunities for families to thrive. B.L.U. Tier offers a wide range of support, from food boxes and toiletries to school supplies, mentoring, and hosting family bonding events. Elisa’s personal journey has fueled her commitment to uplifting other women, helping them realize their worth, set boundaries, and rise above societal challenges. In addition to her non-profit work, Elisa is a full-time medical coder and a successful entrepreneur. She operates @juicworldz , a juice company, and actively participates in community-building initiatives. Balancing her career, business, and family life, Elisa exemplifies resilience and dedication, inspiring others to find strength and hope in their own lives. Elisa is also a proud mother and wife, and when she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, dreaming big, and building connections to further her mission of making a lasting impact in her community. 

 "Desiree Voshefsky started at Community Medical Services (CMS) almost 5 years ago. 

She started as a peer support, using her lived experience with substance misuse to help clients see their potential for change. Desiree than moved to the correctional health team assisted clients in navigating the criminal justice system. She has supported justice involved clients from pre-trial to probation to re-entry after serving time in prison (both federal and state). Desiree is now the Community Impact Manager and oversees the community outreach for the eastern half of Arizona. Desiree advocates for harm reduction and reducing stigma in the community around substance misuse. Desiree is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree at ASU for Criminology and Criminal Justice."
